I'm going to try and answer your questions without getting too specific.
Question: I would like to know how did you get malware?
Answer: We tend to find users become infected by malware by download files from P2P sites, visiting dodgy sites, clicking on fake security ads, etc.
Question: What site was it?
Answer: This is a question that I will not answer, and quite honestly should not be answered at all. One of our missions here at G2G is to help our users remove malware from their computer and by posting a live link to a site that is infected would be contradictory to what one of our goals here at GeekstoGo is.
Question: Was it through email?
Answer: Some infections do come through e-mail.
Question: How did you get rid of it?
Answer: The majority of users will ask for assistance in our Malware Removal forum here at G2G or will bring it to a local shop to have someone take care of it.
If your interesting in finding out more about malware, how people become infected, and how it's removed then you should consider signing up for GeekU. It's our malware training program. You can visit this thread here for more information on our Malware Training Program. Link:
