I've got a networked HP color laserjet 2600n, and recently it has been taking forever to print. it can take anywhere from immediately up to five minutes for it to even start printing.

Sometimes it won't even print the full job. It only printed 4 of 7 pages on one job and I specified to print all 7.

It started acting up about 2 weeks ago, and it has been getting worse from there.

Is there anyway to fix this?

I would install the drivers on another computer and try to print from there. If it prints fine, you know the printer is fine. If not, then you know the problem is in your computer - either the drivers on your computer, something with the spooler, perhaps.

Does it print a self-test page fine from the printer's own menu fine?
