i know this, its locks out my privalages to change the wallpaper, it masks my desktop background with a white screen, it is cut out bad around my icons, it was called spywad, i got rid of it using hijackthis. i cannot delete any profiles under the display web tab which i had been seggested to do, i will shot you a screenshot! please help me, this is very frusterating.a

Copy the part in bold below into notepad and save it as permit2.reg

Thanks for the helpful input but this didnt work, it was entered into the registy alright, but nothing changed! How can they have stuff that totally jams your system up like this?

Download the Registry Search Tool.
Unzip the contents of RegSrch.zip to a convenient location.
Double-click on RegSrch.vbs.
If you have an anti-virus installed it might prompt you about a running script. Please ignore this warning and allow the script to run.
In the "Enter search string (case insensitive) and click OK..." box paste this string:
- NoViewContextMenu
Click "OK" to search the registry for that string.
Wait for a few minutes while it completes the search.
Click "OK" to open the results in WordPad.
Copy and paste the entire results into your next post.

good news got her working! just had to download ms script. now when it was done it said no instances found of the search name NoViewContextMenu you gave me.

i beat it! i went into regedit and changed these values.

if you have this problem get "Silent Runners.vbs" from silernt runners script

also if you get an activex error while running the script get msscript from mirsosoft. just search script in the search bar and it is the first result in the downloads section. i hope this will help you!
