Hi,
I bought a refurbished computer with Windows Vista. My tech said he could erase Vista and install Windows 7 Ultimate on it. Great. Now it keeps saying its invalid. So the tech suggested I buy my own copy of Windows 7. He also said I could just buy a license key. I bought a license key and now want to input it.

Question: Can I add the license key without having to install Windows 7 again. I want to add the key and activate the software. Otherwise I will have to remove all my programs and files and partitions and start over. (Will take much time).

Thanks for your advice.
