Burner fried?

I am trying to backup some of my older CDs. My Burner decieded it didnt like its name and changed it to E: SINU CA-OW ARO1'OA with dots and squiggely lines above most of the letters and numbers. Yes, E is my normal drive for my burner. If you have any clue what to do, please help. I want to shoot it many, many times.
