Hello AstraNut
When you login to GeeksToGo you will see My Controls on the right hand side, go into that and scroll down to Email Settings which is at that bottom under Options. On the left you will see Board Preferences untick the option which says Enable 'Email Notification' by default? and then click Ammend my email settings.
After this has been applied you should not recieve any more email notifications. I think you can also unsubscribe in the email that you recieve.
Thanks

I don't want to un-subscibe to a topic/forum. I just wonder why I receive the exact same email notification multiple times and at once. These are identical emails with identical content and links. I only need to receive ONE email. The others are just duplicates.

Hello
I am puzzled in this department then. I think the best people to answer this will be an administrator as they will know of any server upgrades (if any recently done) etc... and can see whats going on. I my-self don't recieve multiple emails like you are recieving and this does seem odd.
If you don't recieve a reply from an administrator within 3 days you can also post your question in the waiting room which can be found here also before posting please read the topic 3 days with no reply?
I'm sorry that I can't answer this question for you as i'm not a authority figure in this department and I hope you can get things sorted
Thanks

OK. Kinda why I posted in the Feedback forum unless I need to go elsewhere.

Hello
In my own opinion this seems the correct place to put your question as no other forum would cover this type of question and can be classed as feedback.
As I mentioned above if you don't recieve a reply within 3 days please post in the waiting room and follow the directions given and they will get back to you as soon as they can.
Thanks
wizzy

Yes. I understand the 3-day waiting period and where to go if no answer. Read the Terms of Use.

AstraNut,
That happens to me on occasion, but not with every notification. Is it happening with all of them? If not, is there a specific time of day that it happens? Sometimes these glitches are caused by backups, but that's a specific time.

Darn. Now I wish I had saved them so I could answer your questions more accurately. It's not happening now with all of them, but 1 or 2 topics got loaded up which were all repeats.
Will just have to keep tabs on any future ones since there is no known cause right now.
Thanks.
