is it any good ?

is it worth the extra money in buying a new monitor and glasses ?

to early to tell. no real games out yet that take advantage of it. I haven't seen any reviews of the 3d hardware yet either. I'd give it 6 months to a year to see where it goes. It could be a passing fad or be something that you can't live without.
