Mozilla Firefox not working

I use Mozilla Firefox and IE. Mozilla is my default browser. A few days ago, it stopped working. I can open it, but when I type anything in, it goes to the google search page every time. I am the administrator. However, Mozilla works when logged on as my son. I have run virus scans and anti spyware. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Mozilla. Same thing still, works for my son, but not for me, the administrator. Help!
