I tried the "Versa P", clicked "Versa P Hardware Utilities Disk", and then saw:

Category: Application
File Name: L490AS3.EXE
Size: 914 MB
Version: 1.00.01
Posted: Oct 24, 1997
Operating System(s): DOS, Windows 3.x
Description: Versa P Hardware Utilities Disk.

That can't be right.

Just out of curiosity I've been trying to find the operating system. Where would I look please? Can't seem to find it in any of the places that seem logical to me.(yeah I know, Duh)
Also don't know if this is related to the wipe but I've discovered that 'windows' no longer recognizes .pdf files as something it can open. Very frustrating as I've found an NEC site and downloaded what seems to be a user manual which I can't open.

Thanks. Think I had ended up on the same site but can no longer open pdf files. Will have a look on web to see if there's a download. Off to work now.

OK ignore this. No Adobe Reader. Now downloaded and sorted and will read manuals later. Thanks again to rshaffer61.
