Hi,

Ive been trying to clean up my friend's PC (i think i have managed to get rid of the viruses and spyware) but for some reason when you click to shutdown the computer, it just restarts.

Does anyone know if this is a problem with Windows or some sort of virus ;)

Its running XP Professional, if that helps at all.

Thanks guys :tazz:

I'll give it a try but, from my understanding of that article, i think it won't be relevant.

The article is more to do with when it shuts down unexpectedly, whereas this is simply when i choose it to shutdown.

I'll let you know how i get on.

Thanks for the help :tazz:
