I can see no where else for this topic to fit, so I am wondering if you where going to put malware in a virtualized environment how safe would it be? I have read that its completely sand boxed and as long as its not sharing files it cannot jump on the host machine.

Is VMware better? I am considering getting that. I just want an opinion before I get my computer seriously infected.
