Hello ,
my problem is basically same as this one, but i doesn't find useful technique for me so i ask it one more time -
So my foxconn 945P7AA doesn't recognize my dvd room and hdd at the same time ( hdd is ata too ). I have tryed different ata places ( i have 2 blue and 1 grey ) but only 1 ( wich is next to floppy recognize hdd OR cd room ( it's depends on wich one i connect ).. I've tried plug in dvd room as slave at the same jumper - no result, i have tryed to boot xp from usb - disk error.
I don't know what to do :) My system is annoying and old but i wanna get it to work.. Please help me.

( btw. if i doesn't use jumper for hdd or put hdd in other ata connection place - setup doesn't recognize any hdd .. if i plug in cd room to other ata place - it doesn't give me option to boot from CD )

HI kristapzs :)
This is the correct way to connect your HDD and cd rom to the motherboard;
Connect the blue connector to the IDE controller on the MB, connect the black
to the master (HDD) and the grey to the slave (CD ROM).
The other 2 connectors are for a Raid set-up so ignore them as this is not what
you are asking or attempting.
When the computer is booting up tap delete and go into the BIOS and set the IDE
to auto detection, save settings and exit.
Just in case here is a link to your MB
