Is it possible to run remote PC software and share another users PC AND audio too. Im thinking probabaly not but if anyone can tell me it would be one of great people. :)

what exactly are you trying to accomplish? with remote desktop or VNC you can usually set the systems to transfer sound with the connection

Very simple trying to view media simultaniously with a friend on the other side of the country. For instance, watch a movie together on one PC. Cant figure out the best way to get audio with that.

Hes running Vista Home and I have XP Pro as previously mentioned. the "Home" version disables remote desktop but there has to be some free software out there that allows this as well? anyone, anyone, bueller?

VNC should allow the sound to be brought over as well

Does VNC support sound?
No, VNC does not currently support any form of audio. We are looking into including audio support for a future release, although we are unable to provide more information at this time.

According to this site GoToMyPC is the only one that enables sound. There HAS to be more choices!!
