Hi,
Is it possible to repair or do a clean install of Xp if I didn't recieve a disk with my computer? I have a Dell Dimension E510 about 3 or 4 years old. I didn't recieve any type of restore/rescue disks with the computer. I have tried running the programs in the forum but when I get to running GMER is locks up and I have to reboot to safe mode.I do backup my personal files daily (Mozy) but am afraid to restore them on another computer for fear of infecting that one also. I did post my MBAM log on the other thread, but starting to panic the longer I wait. I do all my business online and do not want to have all my info out there if this is a serious problem.
Thanks much!

I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal area.

Before you start a new topic click on this link --> Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic. This will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
