I was on my computer and suddenly my microphone stopped working, so I restarted my computer and when I restarted it, I had this black screen saying that I needed to scan my C drive for a Consistency Check and it started to scan. It said if I pressed a key that it would cancel it, but my keyboard wasn't working. So I turned off my computer by holding down the power button and now every time I turn my computer on, this consistency check comes up. Can anyone help me please?

hi, you should have let it run the scan ,so no every time you start the computer it wants to do the scan ,so did you let it do the scan yet ,if yes ,and it still looking to do one ,you may need to run "chkdsk /f" from the CMD prompt to force it to check the hard drive
