I just bought a ipod touch 8g. I have downloaded the itunes but can not get into the itunes store. I keep getting a message saying "itunes can not connect to the itunes store make sure your network connection is active and try again" I'm new to all this stuff and don't know what to do. I have Defender Pro anti-virus. Please can someone help me and explain it as easy as possible for me...lol. I did go in and disable my Windows firewall and tried it again and still did not work so I turned the firewall back on. Thank.....Laura

The first thing I would try is disabling your anti-virus software just so we can be sure that isn't the problem.

If that doesn't restore the connection, open iTunes, go to Help, Run Diagnostics, then make sure Network Connectivity Tests is selected and click Next. Then post the entire report here when you get time.
