A disk read error.. I need help

Ok so this is what i did my computer was running crappily, so i decided to boot it (format it) when i did i got this error when i switched to my second CD.. It is probably ive used it too many times.. so it told me to restart my computer. i did as instructed and now it will go to the ACER™ screen and then it will go to this black screen and say Verifying DMI Pool Data .................

A disk read error ocurred
Press CTRL+Alt+del to restart.. please i need help

Would love to help, but don't have a clue what you are talking about.

so i decided to boot it (format it)

Did you format your hard drive?

Were you trying to re-install your operating system?

If you are able to boot from your Windows CD/DVD, try doing so and deleting all partitions visible on your hard drive. Then proceed to reinstall windows as you normally would.
