I recently e-mailed my self something from another computer. When i went to download the attachment a window popped up and said Virus detected: the attachment you are trying to download contains a virus and cannot be cleaned. its a pop up from norton, i have included an image of this as an attachment.Download attachment.png i do not have norton on this computer it was just recently wiped clean and windows 7 put on and have no AV so i dont understand how norton is scanning when ive never installed it

Are you by any chance using an online email system? Yahoo email used to scan email attachments using Norton before you could download them and perhaps still does.
