Hello there,

I'm wondering if anybody would have any advice.

When surfing the web and downloading files, my download speeds are very slow. Some times it is worse than others, but I have done a speed test and it says that I have a d/l rate of 5.3 mb/s and an upload of 0.4. I have scanned for viruses with fully updated versions of AVG Free, Malwarebytes and Spybot and they all come back clear.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure if this is posted in the correct place as it may be a malware issue, but I'm not sure.

I'm paying for 3mb, and I have never had a problem previously. Its only the last week or two that it has lowed. I tried restoring an earlier version of my computer from before that, but it hasn't seemed to improve the situation. Web pages can take minutes to display and yet the speed tests are always up around 5mb.
