Hi, my next door neighbour's HP 550 (with Celeron CPU, 1Gb memory and Vista basic) laptop freezes up a couple of minutes after bootup . I cannot do a restore to an earlier time (not enough time), F11 only gets me to Safe mode options, and Esc gets me to a Bootup repair, but booting up is not a problem. we do not have any repair CDs. can anyone help please?
