Guys,

I have recently removed a security tool Malware 'AV Antivur Pro' my computer seems clean after Norton 360 and Super antiSpyware runs no longer identify a problem. I have had a post on the Malware removal forum for 5 days now and no response. The problem now is with the wireless adapter. I was able to run WinsockXPfix and get wired ethernet access to the router, but the wireless does not progress past acquiring network address and the wi-fi light will not stay on even though the device is enabled. I have tried most generic fixes without luck and would love for some help, thanks in advance.

I am running
Windows XP SP2
Intel/Proset Wireless 3945ABG
Thompson TG782T wireless router
