Don't now what to buy. I am a simple user of computers. No games, no video editing. Browsing and email.
Thank you!

Hi gregorie
It was between option A and option C at first glance and the final choice is yours to make but consider the price difference between the two and the return policies.
A: TOSHIBA Satellite C655D-S5057 AMD Athlon II Dual-Core P320(2.10GHz) 15.6" 4GB Memory 250GB HDD ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 NoteBook
B:Recertified: ASUS UL50 Series UL50VT-RBBBK05 Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300(1.30GHz) 15.6" 4GB Memory 500GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce G210M NoteBook
As you only require it for emails and browsing I would choose option A for the speed of the CPU after all you would need to save an awful lot of emails to fill a 250GB HDD.
I hope my logical approach makes sense to you and which ever you choose good luck with it.

First, any one of these systems will do. Second, you need to research each system to get the best one for your money regardless of what people think.

1. Dell M101z - I'm a Dell guy and I like this laptop. It is mobile and it has enough power to do what you want. It's a new offering from Dell, but the initial reviews is that it will work for what you want. It's low processor speed is a turn off though (least bang for the buck).

2. ASUS UL50 and UL80. I wouldn't waste time with the UL50 since the UL80 is much better. The Core2Duo T6500 is a better chip than the Dell AMD, but the Dell offering is an Ultraslim class which the UL80 isn't.

Discussion of the UL80

3. Acer AS5534-1121. I have an Acer AS6930 which has served me well. This computer will do the job you want, however, of all the options, it is not my choice. The low cpu speed is what kills this one along with the Dell M101z.

Amazon Price and Review

4. Toshiba. I've never heard of Toshiba being a bad choice. I'm sure they have had problems with certain series, but they were one of the first portable/laptop. It is one of my top picks due to processor speed and video card.

Newegg Price and Review

Top #1 Choice: ASUS U80A-RFRBK05 - It has the Intel Core 2 Due T6400 chip (solid chip), but it does have integrated graphics (which is a pain point even if you are just using it for Internet and Email). I still rate it the Top because of the CPU.

Top #2 Choice: Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5057 - CPU is solid, but the graphic system is better than the ASUS. Toshiba has been around forever being one of the first laptop companies (they had a 7lb laptop offering in the 1980's!)

Runner Up: Dell M101z - The new kid on the block. It's a runner up due to the processing speed being lower than the top two. However, I would seriously consider this laptop if the reviews for the top two do not move you to buy either one.

I would spend about 2 hours researching the top two and the runner up just so you can know you made the right purchase
