Total Video Converter 3.1 Blows Up When Combining Files

I have used this program for 3 years with no problem in combinging .mpg files to upload to YouTube. All of a sudden, when I click "Convert Now" after selecting my files to comine, the entire program blows up. I've tried rebooting system and retrying several times--same result. H.e.l.p.
