Debugging message-suspected virus

I keep getting a message at sign on that references the old timer software I used about a year ago to rid myself of a virus. I also keep getting a dialogue box that asks about debugging. I ran all the suggested malware software about a month ago,thought it was fixed, but performance is still lousy and I keep getting these messages. Any suggestions?
