I have a Toshiba Satellite A15-S1292. A while ago I bought a new power cable for it. It was working fine until one day when it would not get power from the cable. I thought I had a dead power cable. I recently got around to getting a brand new one but it turns out that it isnt working. After some research I discovered that the flashing light was trying to tell me something. The problem is, I dont know how to determine what error code Im getting. I know that the sequence of the flashing is 4 short, 1 long, 3 short. Somehow im supposed to convert it to hexadecimal and use that to determine the error im getting. I have no clue how to do that. Can anybody help me out here?

Haven't a clue about what it might mean but, for whatever it's worth, "00001000" decimal is "3E8" hexadecimal.
