;) hi all, i was just wondering whether any one could help me. my friend keeps getting two popups every time he starts I.E. one is a gambling site and the other one is an explicit site, it only comes on once. could any one please give me suggestions on how to stop these from poping up each time.

could anyone also give me a solution to why msm messenger will not work.

Hi Seth,

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP, or Service Pack 4 if you are running Win2k. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.

Apply the update, reboot, and post a fresh Hijack This log.
