On my notifications it shows that tsnp2std Microsoft is disconnected, I am assuming that is the reason why my webcam is not recognized when I plug it in, how do I connect it or does it have nothing to do with my webcam?

The file tsnp2std.exe is HP software for their webcam. You need to install the software supplied with the webcam.

If it is a USB webcam then you need to
Install software first
Then connect webcam after software is installed.

Do not have webcam plugged in till the software has been installed.
