Hello- I'm hoping someone can help me fast! I just had my daughter's Dell 360 Latitude laptop (3 years old) cleaned up,etc. for my son to take to college. When my husband picked up the computer at the "computer guy's" house, it was running fine with re. to internet connection. However, now at home we connect to wireless fine, but no internet. We get error message that says "microsoft encountered error- must shut down". Excuse my very non-computer savvy questions, but could it have to do with my daughter's laptop and the router she's connected to w/ her new laptop? Her internet connection is fine. It's the same router for both laptops. I don't understand why it worked in the guy's house, but not here. I'm sure it's just some reconfiguring or something that has to be done, but naturally he hasn't answered his phone for two days despite us leaving messages. My son is going to college in a few days. I'm on the brink of running out and putting a new laptop on my credit card )-: Any and all help greatly appreciated!!

If iTunes connect, but IE doesn't, that means, you do have internet connection.
I suspect, your computer is infected.

I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal area.

Before you start a new topic click on this link --> Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic. This will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
