I have posted in the malware forum because I thought something nasty might be stopping me from installing malware removal tools but I was reading back through my post and noticed in a couple of place that '%APPDATA% couldn't be found and that folder was mentioned in one of the failed install messages. Could that be the problem instead and, if so, how might I be able to fix it?

My original post is here : http://www.geekstogo...yware-cleaning/

Thanks
