So i recently got a new graphics card Geforce 9800 GT and my monitor was VGA/VGA and worked fine so i brought a adapter but my monitor wouldn't doa nothing the green light would come up but it would stay black. Since i thought it may have been the graphics card i tried a monitor that i brought about 10 years which was also VGA/VGA but it worked perfectly i was shocked because it was so old. but now i'm using a old screen which isn't that great but manageable.

Btw my monitor is AOC N19W and my old one is a CTX S500 and i have double triple quadruple checked the cables :)
