I think this is the right forum for this.

I am looking to buy a new laptop and don't know an enormous amount about computers to make an educated decision. In order of importance here is what I am looking for.

1. Price, the cheaper the better, I want under $1000 for sure.
2. Monitor size. I will be watching movies on it, but not exlusively
3. Speed and space. I want fast, decent memory for storing music and tv shows.
4. The only game I really play is Starcraft 2. So it has to support that.

I am looking to buy at bestbuy, simply because I have gift cards from there. But if thats a bad idea I'm fine with going elsewhere.

Also, is it worth getting the extended warranties?

This one looks pretty good. I am not sure on pricing but if you have Gift Cards then it might work out to use them. Otherwise shop around for pricing, Newegg apparently is pretty good but there's only so much I can do from down under. :)

Cheers

P.S. welcome :)

EDIT: Oh and for extended warranties, I personally don't because yes, I am a computer technician... I just fix it myself for wholesale cost of parts... but things may be different for you. Depends on your budget. That being said, a bit over a year ago now I purchased a DSLR Olympus Camera and the guy gave me a good deal, he then asked if I wanted extended warranty for $99, I said I'll give you an extra $50 for it and he agreed! Haha.
