Hello I was on my computer this morning with no problems at all. Then when I turned on my computer today. I get a blue screen after the Windows logo screen. Safe mode doesn't work.

I set the hard drive as a slave on another computer I have. Hoping I could run an error scan using it. When I go to My Computer I can see the broken hard drive which has two partitions. Partition D seems fine. The main partition which had Windows XP installed on it and all my files doesn't load up. When I double click it. The computer says the drive needs to be formatted. I don't want to format it because I don't want to lose all my work!

Any help would be much appreciated! I don't want to lose all my important work!
