I was getting a message saying that my .net db was corrupted, running sfc /scannow did not fix, and I can't run the 3.5 installer since I'm running win7. I tried using add/remove windows features to remove and reinstall .net 3.5, but kept erroring out (error message was the standard "something has happened" with absolutely no helpful information). I ran the .net cleanup tool, which seemed to remove all versions *but* 3.5. I've since gotten all the .nets but 3.5 working again through some hair-pulling troubleshooting on my part, but 3.5 is still broken. sfc tells me that WUDFPf.sys and aero_helpsel.cur are broken:

Or at least, I think that's what that bit means.

Any idea on what I should do next?
