Something wrong there then...

Download System Information for Windows: http://www.gtopala.c...w-download.html to your Desktop.
Get SIW Standalone (English-Only).
Double click on siw.exe to run the program.
Go File>Create Report File>HTML
Save the file to known location.
Zip the file, and attach it to your next reply.

OK. Are you sure, you're downloading chipset driver from MY link? Windows 7 driver, not Vista driver.
I'm asking, because the link for video driver, you gave me is for Vista, not Windows 7.
Win 7 video driver is here: http://support.dell....1&fileid=382263

You sent me two different links:

1. http://support.dell....1&fileid=382263

2. http://support.dell....1&fileid=342057

You sent #2. about 5 replies ago, and had just sent me the first one.

I guess it was a misunderstanding. It worked, well, it installed, time for restart

GFXUI - Intel Graphic User Interface

You just installed what? Chipset driver?
If so, go for video driver now (Windows 7!)

I just installed:

http://support.dell....1&fileid=382263

Which I would believe to be the video driver.

The chipset had given me the error above....

Regarding chipset driver, both links are fine.
The 1st link is a newer driver.
You can try both.

OK, here is your laptop's main page: http://support.dell....ndex=&typeid=-1

I suggest, you reinstall your chipset driver, first: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&releaseid=R237653&SystemID=inspiron1545&servicetag=52B7WJ1&os=W732&osl=en&deviceid=18283&devlib=0&typecnt=0&vercnt=1&catid=-1&impid=-1&formatcnt=0&libid=27&typeid=-1&dateid=-1&formatid=-1&source=-1&fileid=342057
Make sure, you read installation instructions:

1.Double-click the new icon on the desktop labeled R237653.exe.
2.The Self-Extracting window appears and prompts you to extract or
unzip to C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R237653. Write down this path so the executable (I.e.
Setup.exe) file can be found later.
3.The Self-Extractor window appears.
4.Click OK.
5.After completing the file extraction, if the Self-Extractor
window is still open, close it.
6.Click the Start button and then click Run.
7.Type C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R237653 in the Open textbox and then click OK.
8.Follow the on-screen installation instructions.

Then, go for reinstalling video driver: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&releaseid=R215593&SystemID=inspiron1545&servicetag=&os=WLH&osl=en&deviceid=17043&devlib=0&typecnt=0&vercnt=3&catid=6&impid=-1&formatcnt=0&libid=6&typeid=-1&dateid=-1&formatid=-1&source=&fileid=305902

1.Double-click the new icon on the desktop labeled R215593.exe.
2.The Self-Extracting window appears and prompts you to extract or
unzip to C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R215593. Write down this path so the executable (I.e.
Setup.exe) file can be found later.
3.The Self-Extractor window appears.
4.Click OK.
5.After completing the file extraction, if the Self-Extractor
window is still open, close it.
6.Click the Start button and then click Run.
7.Type C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R215593 in the Open textbox and then click OK.
8.Follow the on-screen installation instructions.

Make sure, you read installation instructions - Did not work. Was a VISTA Driver.

Win 7 video driver is here: http://support.dell....1&fileid=382263

I then did what you asked above.

Basically. You had sent me three links. K? The first one gave me the big refusal error. You had told me that it was because it was for vista. You then gave me another link. That one worked (It wasnt a chipset, it was a video driver). Going back to the first quote, you had sent me another video driver.

Breakdown:
You sent me:
Two different Intel GM45 Video drivers: http://support.dell....1&fileid=382263 and http://support.dell....=&fileid=305902
Intel GM45 Express Chipset Family - http://support.dell....1&fileid=342057 (Gave me the big error)...

I installed your number 1.

It is labeled as video. Is it a video or chipset driver o.O?
