windows xp and 2000 on the same comp

so i thought i reformatted but i guess i did not becasue now i have 2 OS's on my computer can i get some advice on uninstalling win 2000 ...thanks

Completely uninstalling is...a little tricky. Mostly uninstalling. Less so.

First, I need you to post your boot.ini file, found in c:\

Next, please indicate what folders you have windows installed in

win2000 default is winnt
winxp default is windows

Is that your case?

How many harddrive ?

to mostly remove windows 2000, edit your boot.ini so it looks like the above

then delete c:\winnt
