Hi, my laptop is a compaq presario v2000 running windows xp home edition. I've got the BSOD and it runs in a loop. It won't start in safe mode and the error I'm getting is 0x00000024 (0x00190203, 0x85782efo, 0xc0000102, 0x00000000). I'm not sure how to fix it. I've read online that you have to fix it with the OS disc but I don't have that. I have the registry key but no one I know has a copy of XP home edition. I do have a copy of windows Xp pro. Can I fix it with that? If not is there another way I can fix it?
