i'm using hp wireless mouse. the cursor is uncontrolable, will not move smoothly. have tried reinstalling many times - it worked fine when i first installed it. can anyone help? thank you.

I keep a canned of compressed dusting gas (incorrectly and dangerously called "canned air") handy to blast out the lens area (assuming an optical mouse). It does not take long for dust or dog hair to get in there and disrupt things.
