good point, when you dropped it in your system to copy the files, you likely set it to slave....

OK.....now I just formatted the HD and setup copied the files onto the HD. but when I rebooted it says:
COULD NOT OPEN DRIVE
NTLDR: COULD NOT OPEN DRIVE

the jumpers and in correctly.....single drive, Master

Quickeyez, do a chkdsk. then do your format and install again.

Also, locate the hard drive in the secondary master location and try it there. I think i did this b4 and it worked, if it does for you, you may have controller problems.
