This is really irritating. Downloads appear to be working and get past the open or save portion, green bar progresses as though completing BUT at the end of it nothing occurs and no amt of searching produces anything.
PDF's do the same thing. YEsterday, when i needed to be able to open the PDF for my son and granddaughters' airline boarding passes this also occurred. This was finally remedied by going to the airlines website. The challenge then was to convince someone to help us print from the site as we had chosen to download and print and they thought there might be some monkeybusiness I guess. We were requesting the same boarding passes too many ways.

What sort of settings might i check to see what is occurring or should i say NOT occurring ?? I am running out of ideas.

This is a Dell Inspiron, Vista Os 32/64 bit

let me know what other info you might need to help me out of this dilemma. This is whether it is in an email or anything else I might be trying to download.
I noticed one of the challenges that i searched on here and the advice was to dump the pdf and use something from fox ?
When i try to open there are no options for what i would like to open it in as there was when i had XP os.

Thank you so much, in advance.
