Everytime i boot up (W7-64 bit) I get this message:

"Required System Software Not Installed

Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 is required to continue. This software is available for free download at...."

I installed this when i first saw this warning but still got the message. Just recently I tried downloading V2 again, saw that V4 was available, and downloaded and installed that.

Still get this message.

Not the same thing, v2 is entirely different from v4.
.net 2 is already part of Windows 7 so you shouldn't need to download anything.

Something you have on the machine is causing this.
