actually when i choose the windows XP home editon. it takes me to another menu that says didnt boot up correctly becuase of a software or hardware change and the options are safe mode options last time settings worked or start normally. Ive tried all the options and when i choose one its restarts to the windows XP home edtion, restore windows XP home edtion, or system recovery console. To work i have to choose restore windows XP option.

Hi again, ok this might not be a spyware/virus related issue anymore.

If you have no further problems on spyware/viruses, I suggest that this question be posted in the Windows XP forum. They should be able to assist you over there.

Any other problems now (besides the boot options) before I close this topic?
