Hello, appreciated some help here. I'm having problems with my internet connection. My internet is kind of slow.. sometimes it gets back to normal but after a while, it get slow again. I don't know what is causing this. I don't think the problem lies with my ISP as i'm behind a router, and the computer that was connected to the main modem was working fine, no issues with the internet. This has been going on for a few days already. Have run cc cleaner, malwarebytes and avg but to no avail, the problem still stays. Kind of frustrating ya :D

Pls advise.

umm. Any help to the above? I'm still facing this problem.. Sorry for bumping as i've posted here for a few days already and yet received no reply. I suspect that i've got a virus as i clicked on a link that my friend sent, and after which he told me that the link was actually a virus and he was not the one who send me the link. I've run all checks, no problem detected. Pls help.. I'm totally lost. :D

Well, i'm not residing in the US so I just randomly picked on any city.
I took the test anyway, download speed is 0.21 Mbps and upload speed 0.19Mbps.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I've tested with speedtest. The download speed is 0.97Mb/s and upload speed 1.03Mbps. This is as of now. It's working fine now, but i've got a feeling later the speed will be going up and down again. This has been going on for a few days already :D

Don't know where you might be located but, download speeds of between .21 and .97 Mb/s are pretty shabby.

http://speedtest.net/global.php#0

World Speedtest.net Results

Download speed (Mbps = Mega-bits per second)

9.23 Europe
7.97 North America
6.90 Asia
6.27 Australasia
2.83 South America
1.81 Africa

What speed are you supposed to be getting from your ISP?

I'm located in asia. I should be getting 6Mbps from my ISP. Now the internet getting slow again, which might explain the test results. :D

What is the test result using the "computer that was connected to the main modem"?
