Hi,

When users of a certain account try to log into the pc they get this error message.

If they are set up as admins then they can log in using the accounts. However they must not be setup as admins when using the pc.

They can log on to other PCs using the accounts

I have looked in AD and the accounts are setup to log on to all pcs on the network.

The PC is XP

Can anyone help?

it seems like a silly thing, but are they logging onto the local computer to to the domain?
If to the local computer and there is not user account for them they would receive an error.

One other thing to check is to make sure that the Group Policy Object security setting Security Settings, Local Policies, User Rights, Logon Locally has the default groups Administrators, Enterprise Domain Controllers, and Everyone applied to it.
This is most likely being set by the Default Domain Policy.
