IE opens and then closes out.

I've noticed my computer getting slower over the last month. And the past couple days I am unable to open IE. I tweeked some things (disabled some toolbar stuff) and that helped but I don't know why now is it acting up. I've done the flashflush, and TFC. Ran virus scans (Norton & MalwareBytes or something like that).

Really I have a variety of maladies going on.

A Norton scan said I was low on RAM. I uninstalled several old programs then.

Could someone please give me some direction with this issue please?
