Hi guys, I have an issue my Gateway laptop.
(i am sending this using my sons laptop)

I left the computer running housecall trendmicro at night; when I got back from work I found it with a black screen with no cursor.

It will not boot correctly in Safe mode or last known good configuration.

Also, I have no internet connection, not normal or safe mode....none.

Iam not a techie BTW.

I do have the Windows disk that came with the computer....But would prefer to use it as last case scenario....Have lots of stuff in the computer.

BTW....I am not sure if this is related but last week I got rid of the "fake microsoft essentials"....all was good until today.
