By this are you asking how to format your hard drive and re-install Windows XP?
If you are you will need your original XP installation disk or an equivalent, your COA (code of authenticity) or the installation disks that came with the computer along with the product key ( a sticker on the computer with a 25 digit code) this may be on the side or the rear of the case, have a look at the link below to refresh your memory, if you require further assistance feel free to ask;

Is it a Dell or HP or Compaq or another branded computer?
Is it a homebuilt unit?
Do you have recovery CD's or is there a recovery partition.

We need more info to be able to help furthur.
