I recently developed a problem on my Oppo 15 cellphone. I had downloaded Avast Anti Virus and it was so irritatingly intrusive that I uninstalled it. Regardless of the fact that it was uninstalled, it keeps on operating in the background. I'm in the middle of another application and it just decides on it's own to start scanning, and if I remove, or for that matter just let it run it's course, I have to restart whatever application I was busy with from scratch. Then there are the pop up ads that now infest my phone. So I went back to playstore and downloaded AVG, ran it but it made no difference, the problem remained. Then I went on Youtube and watched a couple of clips, but none of them has helped either. Apart from what I mentioned, there are no new apps on my phone. Is there some kind soul out there who had the same issue, resolved it and is willing to share the solution? 🙏🏻

The following in no way intended as any kind of malware removal assistance and from a tech perspective only.

Bit of an obvious suggestion I`m afraid, back up any saved pics and videos etc, make sure that you 100% know and/or have any password written down then factory reset your handset.
