I hope someone can advise me on this. This evening, I did a system restore, and took it back a few days. After boot up, it started up with a blank screen, I don't get pass the password prompt either.

I have tried booting up in Safe mode, and the problem still persists, I'm unable to do anything with it blank, all I see is the cursor.

Please can someone give me some ideas. I am running Windows 7.

Thanks in advance
