I was having some issues with Malware and ended up using ComboFix.exe to resolve that problem based on another thread here at GTG.
After the computer rebooted, I tried to jump on the Internet via Firefox and this is the message I got...

"The proxy server is refusing connections

Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections.

* Check the proxy settings to make sure that they are correct.

* Contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is
working."

I have never had a problem with Firefox before, and certainly nothing along the lines of it being configured to use a proxy server.

Any ideas?

Doh! Problems solved as follows...

Opened Firefox and went to
Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection: Selected "No Proxy"

Everything is fine :D
