I do not know what seems to be the problem. When hitting Cntrl-Alt-Delete to bring up the Task Manager, the icon appears in the system tray but I cannot access it at all.

I have a firewall in place, anti-virus, ad-aware and all scans do not detect anything. Is there anyway for me to get it working?

Do you get task manager as an option if you right click the taskbar, if so, does it open properly or open then minimize

No, I get nothing at this point. When right-clicking, the only options are Close and Always on Top
